Overview

I led the conceptualization and development of Designer’s Roundtable, an innovative program where I carefully designed the user experience flow. Users were sent personalized invitations via email to join Altium's first Designer's Roundtable, effortlessly guiding them to a dedicated page. This page not only provided comprehensive details but also included a user-friendly 'Add to Calendar' button for their convenience.

Before Live

When users visited the page before the event was live, they were presented with comprehensive details about the upcoming live event. Within this page, users could effortlessly click on the 'Add to Calendar' button, propelling them to the next step seamlessly

Process

In conceptualizing the Designer's Roundtable, my foremost consideration was the user experience, prioritizing ease of use. My goal was to make attending the live event as seamless as possible. Once the user journey was defined, the next steps involved gathering all necessary copy and designing the interface around that content.

Add to Calendar

Upon clicking the 'Add to Calendar' button, users were prompted to select their preferred email client for receiving the invitation. Through thorough testing, this process demonstrated flawless functionality across all the email clients tested.

Live Page

We made the strategic decision to restrict user interaction within a live chat system. Instead, we collaborated with Drift, leveraging their beta version of forms for users to submit their questions.

Take Away

In essence, this distinctive program provided invaluable learning experiences, as is common with most projects. I continuously aim to extract meaningful insights and knowledge from each endeavor I undertake.
