Role

With Pure Project, I was to fully brand a company. I had to come up with the name and the logo, style tile, and full photoshop comps for each query size. Also, I was to fully develop the entire site myself. With, of course, a fully functional site to present to the client.

Process

Working on Pure Project was a very challenging, but I love challenges! It’s what really pushes me to produce better work. From design to development, I always completed every task early, or right on time, but never late. I used Photoshop, Illustrator and sublime to complete this entire site.

Design

For me, coming up with a great logo was very important to me, so a decent amount of time was put in Illustrator designing it. The colors green and blue were chosen to symbolize being “green” and being more efficient using the color “blue”. You’ll see this through the entire site.

Development

This is of course, where most of my time was spent, but this is also the time where all of the problem solving comes into play. All the pages were built from the ground up and I built a custom testimonial slider for Pure Project in 100% vanilla javascript.

Take Away

This project was a full of challenges, but it kept me on my toes. When you think you’re extremely organized, you begin to find better ways to accomplish task. It’s a good reminder that the industry is always changing, and when you think you know something, you realize there is most likely a better way to do it.
